08 Day Camp
The Salvation Army's Boys and Girls Clubs offers summer day camp programming
to boys and girls in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area. Serving children between the ages of five and thirteen, the Franklin Square Summer Day Camp (Baltimore City), the Middle River Summer Day Camp (Baltimore County) and the Glen Burnie Summer Day Camp (North Anne Arundel County)
Programs run from June 25th through August 13'th. The program operates Monday through Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm at a cost ranging from $45-$60 per week/per child, with pre and after-camp care options available for an additional fee ranging from $10-$20 per week per child.
Day Camp activities include an array of structured activities including swimming, team indoor and outdoor sports and games, arts and crafts, team and character building activities, and weekly fieldtrips to area and attractions including Six Flags, Fort McHenry Park, Patapsco State Park, The Baltimore Museum of Art, Port Discovery and The Maryland Science Center.
Recreational activities area supplemented with educational cultural activities such as book clubs, foreign language lessons, and lessons and activities on nature and the environment.
