SALVATION ARMY RESPONDING TO THOSE AFFECTED BY EASTERN COASTAL STORMS
Report from the National Capital & Virginia Division
Over the past two days, parts of Virginia had anywhere from 8 to 13 inches of rain, and the Tidewater Area felt the effects of 70 to 75 mph wind gusts throughout last night. With the flooding that has already occurred there is still the potential of increased flooding with high tide tonight, and in the morning. 84,000 people in Virginia are reported without power.
