CAMP GOTTA CROP
Florida’s 8th Annual Camp Gotta Crop was held February 11-14, 2010. Some of the women traveled to Camp Keystone from as far away as Illinois and North Carolina. 243 delegates braved the cold, rainy weather to have a few hours to relax, fellowship and scrap their hearts out!
Lt. Colonel Connie Canning was the guest. A non-scrapper before camp, by the end of the weekend, she was hooked! Skill classes were offered to hone the delegates’ techniques. When the hours bent over the pictures got to be too much, a quick trip to the masseuse worked away the sore muscles.
The highlight of the weekend was the worship program, when several women went to the altar. Delegates have already made plans to attend next year.
Finding ways to reach out to women and touch them with the loving hand of the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is our mission and our passion.
“Just give me Jesus” is an outreach ministry of the West Pasco, Forida corps community center. Ladies from the corps are visiting victims of domestic violence to conduct a Bible study and a time of fellowship each month.

Want to learn a new skill? How about a sewing class like the one in the Bradenton? Here are pictures of some of the “students” with their teacher.

Need another idea? Find a tea room and invite the ladies out to a brunch. Here are some who did.

Scrapbooking is big in Florida and groups all over the state meet monthly to crop until they drop. Also included, great fellowship, food and spiritual encouragement. Scrapbooking weekend at camp is just around the corner, coming up in February.
