A few words from our clients....
"I go to bed at night knowing my kids are full, clean, safe and happy.  The FAITH program gave me the jump start we needed in the right direction." S. T.  (April 2012) 6 month review of  FAITH(FAMILIES IN TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM

Things I Am Greatful for......"having my daughter with me.  Being sober for nearly 7 months. Mostly I am greatful for the way my life has changed since I entered the VIP-ER program seven months ago."  Written by K.R. in June 2011 with anticipated graduation from the FAITH program in June 2012

" I have $8.62 for food this week." L.C. is a single woman in her mid-forties and her house was in foreclosure.  She received a food box from The Salvation Army Food Pantry.  It addition to canned and boxed goods, she also received lettuce, tomatoes, orange juice, English muffins, bread, a pound cake, bacon, turkey and other items.  Her favorite item, however, was the fresh broccoli.  "Do you know how long it has been since I had fresh broccoli?" (January 2012)

" First and most important I learned if I do the right thing God will provide for me and my son.  Second I learned being a single parent is not as easy as I thought it would be.....I have come to see that things I once thought to be important are really just ways to distract myself from the challenges of life and responsibility. I have learned that not giving up can lead to success, or the road to it....." V.S. single father of a 2 year old (March 2012)

The Salvation Army "FAITH program has change my life in so many ways and made the possibility for a better life more attainable for myself and my daughter..... As for the future, I see myself becoming a self sufficent person again.  Getting my independence back.  With the ability to pay all my bills.  Saving up enough money to get into a home.  Being able to provide an environment where my daughter can flourish and grow into adulthood.  A home we can be be happy and healthy together.  Where I will be the queen of my castle."  M.J. (May 2012) FAITH resident
